MonitoringLocationDescriptionText The station is located on the Spanish Bottom Utah 7.5 minute series (topographic) quadrangle. The site is on the Green River about 200 meters upstream from the confluence with the Colorado River in Canyonlands National Park. Bacteriological samples were held longer than 30 hours. Flow data are available from the USGS record at Green River. Formation: Alluvium. Substrate: Sand. Position: River channel. The data are from the report "Water Resources Descriptions and Data Base Canyonlands National Park Needles District and Adjacent BLM Lands" prepared by Ecosystems Research Institute (October 1984).
