MonitoringLocationDescriptionText THE STATION IS LOCATED ON THE MUSSELMAN ARCH UT 7.5 MINUTE SERIES (TOPOGRAPHIC) QUADRANGLE. THE SITE IS AT CABIN SPRING INSIDE THE CANYONLANDS NATIONAL PARK. THE DATA ARE FROM THE REPORT `ARCHES AND CANYONLANDS NATIONAL PARK AQUATIC STUDY` BY J. CONNOR (NPS) AND W.G. KEPNER (BLM) (1983). THE PURPOSE OF THE STUDY WAS TO MONITOR THE IMPACTS BY VISITORS IN THE BACKCOUNTRY TO WATER SOURCES IN THE PARKS. THE STUDY WAS A JOINT EFFORT BETWEEN THE NATIONAL PARK SERVICE AND THE BUREAU OF LAND MANAGEMENT. FOR MORE INFORMATION CONTACT THE CHIEF OF RESOURCES AT ARCHES NATIONAL PARK; P.O.
