MonitoringLocationDescriptionText The station is outside the Cabrillo National Monument park boundary and is located in the Pacific Ocean approximately 7.2 km west of the Point Loma Waste Water Treatment Plant, 0.3 km west of outfall diffuser. This site is referred to as station 'E14' in the Annual Receiving Waters Monitoring Reports for the Point Loma Ocean Outfall and is monitored as part of the requirements for NPDES Permit No. CA0107409. Due to a change in permit requirements sampling at station 'E14' was discontinued in July 2003 and station 'F30' replaced 'E14'. The site is monitored as part of the requirements for NPDES Permit No. CA0107409.
