THE SITE IS AT CROOKED CREEK; NEAR ITS MOUTH; NEAR PETERS BRIDGE; AT STREAM MILE 0.1. DATA WERE COLLECTED AND ANALYZED AT THIS SITE FROM 1973 THROUGH 1974 BY JOHN RIDDLE; A GRADUATE STUDENT OF TENNESSEEE TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY; USING A HACH KIT (DREL/2; MODEL NUMBER 250605). DATA WERE SUMMARIZED IN A FINAL REPORT TITLED "CUMBERLAND PLATEAU MUSKELLUNGE INVESTIGATION." TEMPERATURE; DISSOLVED OXYGEN; AND PH MEASUREMENTS WERE TAKEN IN THE FIELD; ALL OTHER PARAMETERS WERE DETERMINED IMMEDIATELY UPON RETURN FROM THE FIELD.
