MonitoringLocationDescriptionText THE STATION IS LOCATED ON THE HONEY CREEK TENNESSEE 7.5 MINUTE SERIES (TOPOGRAPHIC) QUADRANGLE INSIDE OF THE BIG SOUTH FORK NATIONAL RIVER AND RECREATIONAL AREA (BISO) BOUNDARIES. THE SITE IS AT THE BIG SOUTH FORK NEAR LEATHERWOOD BRIDGE AT STREAM MILE 70.2. DATA WERE COLLECTED AND ANALYZED AT THIS SITE FROM 1973 THROUGH 1974 BY JOHN RIDDLE; A GRADUATE STUDENT OF TENNESSEE TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY USING A HACH KIT (DREL/2; MODEL NUMBER 250605). DATA WERE SUMMARIZED IN A FINAL REPORT TITLED "CUMBERLAND PLATEAU MUSKELLUNGE INVESTIGATION." TEMPERATURE; DISSOLVED OXYGEN; AND PH MEASUREMENTS WERE TAKEN IN THE FIELD; ALL OTHER PARAMETERS WERE DETERMINED IMMEDIATELY UPON RETURN FROM THE FIELD.
