THE SITE IS AT THE ATLANTIC OCEAN OFF FOWEY ROCKS AND IS INSIDE BISCAYNE NATIONAL PARK BOUNDARIES. DATA ARE FROM THE 1918 REPORT ENTITLED "SALINITY OF OCEANWATER AT FOWEY ROCKS FLORIDA" BY RICHARD B. DOLE AND ALFRED A. CHAMBERS; UNITED STATES GEOLOGICAL SURVEY. CHLORIDE CONTENT WAS DETERMINED BY TITRATING A SAMPLE OF SEAWATER WITH A SOLUTION OF SILVER NITRATE IN THE PRESENCE OF POTASSIUM CHROMATE INDICATOR. SALINITY AND SPECIFIC GRAVITY VALUES WERE CALCULATED FROM CHLORIDE CONTENT VALUES. FOR MORE INFORMATION; CONTACT NATURAL RESOURCES MANAGEMENT AT BISCAYNE NATIONAL PARK; P.O.
