| MonitoringLocationDescriptionText | Station is located at the Alamo Springs grazing exclosure. The enclosed area consists of a series of shallow standing pools; seeps; and areas of shallow surface flow just outside Bandelier National Monument. In situ water quality measurements and water samples were collected in a 6' x 2' area of flowing water approximately 20 meters upstream of the outlet of the enclosure near the north boundary fence. The depth of water in this sampling area was 0.2 feet at the deepest point. Data were collected by Lynette Stevens in September 1996 to establish a baseline for comparative purposes as a development was proposed upstream off of St. Peters Dome Road. Data processed and uploaded to STORET by Dean Tucker NPS Water Resources Fort Collins Colorado (9702253516).*** Legacy STORET Station Type: /TYPA/AMBNT/SPRING |
