Station is on the Oneida South TN USGS 7.5 minute quadrangle. This station was part of a study conducted by the National Park Service from November 1982 through October 1984 to evaluate stream water quality; identify polluted streams; locate major sources of pollution; and determine background levels of water quality in unaffected streams for Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area. The results are documented in a report entitled ""Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area: Water Quality Report 19821984"" Water Resources Report 867 by Michael Rikard; Sam Kunkle; and Juliette Wilson published in August 1986.
