SAMPLES FROM THIS SITE WERE COLLECTED ON DECEMBER 15 1967 BY THE U.S. GEOLOGICAL SURVEY AND APRIL 8 1970 BY THE MONTANA BUREAU OF MINES AND GEOLOGY. THE RESULTS ARE PUBLISHED IN THE USGSWRD ADMINISTRATIVE REPORT "WATERSUPPLY POSSIBILITIES FROM SPRINGS FOR PRETTY EAGLE AND OKABEH SITES; BIGHORN CANYON NATIONAL RECREATION AREA; MONTANA" (MAY 1970) BY R.
