MonitoringLocationDescriptionText | THE STATION IS LOCATED ON THE DILLINGHAM (A2) AK 1:63360 SCALE SERIES TOPOGRAPHIC QUADRANGLE AND IS OUTSIDE THE KATMAI NATIONAL PARK AND PRESERVE BOUNDARIES (KATM). THE SITE IS LOCATED AT THE ALAGNAK WILD RIVER UPSTREAM OF HYDROCARBON AND FUELING AREAS. A WATER SAMPLE AND 3 REPLICATE SEDIMENT SAMPLES WERE TAKEN AT THIS STATION ON 16 SEPTEMBER 1996. RESULTS WERE SUMMARIZED IN A REPORT TO THE NATIONAL PARK SERVICE TITLED "BASELINE HYDROCARBON STUDY; KATMAI NATIONAL PARK AND PRESERVE; 1997 INTERIM REPORT" BY PHILIP JOHNSON AND CATHERINE BERG; U.S. FISH AND WILDLIFE SERVICE; ALASKA REGIONAL OFFICE; ANCHORAGE AK (INTERAGENCY AGREEMENT 991069025; SEPTEMBER 1996).
